Annie
Joanna Pacitti was hired for the Broadway musical Annie at 12 years old after winning a nationwide contest sponsored by Macy's. Before her contract was up, Pacitti was replaced as Annie and her family sued the production staff for millions, claiming she had won the contest fair and square and deserved to retain the prize of playing the role.
