• Joan Jett is a rock singer, guitar player and occasional actress who got her start in the all-girl band The Runaways with Lita Ford. After the group split up 1979. In 1982 Jett topped the charts with "I Love Rock N' Roll" which stayed in the number one spot for five consecutive weeks. Jett is one of the only two women listed in Rolling Stone's list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time, coming it at number 87.
