Joan Cusack is an American actress and comedian who has appeared in such films as Nine Months and Working Girl. She comes from a family of actors and entertainers, and has starred alongside her brother John in High Fidelity, Sixteen Candles and Grosse Point Blank.
Cusack plays the mother of Isla Fisher, in the romantic comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic, which opens in U.S. theaters on February 13, 2009.
Awards
Cusack was twice nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her roles in Working Girl and In & Out. She also secured nominations for the Golden Globes and American Comedy Awards.
