Jimmy Page

The documentary "It Might Get Loud", released in August of 2009 finds Jimmy Page offering his musical philosophy to the industry. Jimmy Page is a rock guitarist best known for his work with the classic rock band Led Zeppelin. Page is generally considered to be one of the most influential guitarists of the 20th century by critics and fans alike; Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him ninth on their all-time greatest guitarists list of 2003.

Jimmy Page Career

After working as a session guitarist in the early 60s, Page got his start in The Yardbirds, the band that also served as the starting point for Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. Lineup changes in the Yardbirds led Page to bring in Robert Plant and John Bonham, and eventually the group evolved into Led Zeppelin.

Zeppelin became one of the most popular and influential rock bands of all time. After breaking up in 1980, Page kept busy with a variety of projects, including solo work, collaborations, and touring with Robert Plant. In 2007, Led Zeppelin officially reunited, with Jason Bonham replacing his late father on drums.
