Jimmy Johnson

Jimmy Johnson is a former college and pro football head coach. He guided the Miami Hurricanes to a national championship in 1988, and later led the Dallas Cowboys to back-to-back Super Bowl championships. Today, he serves as a studio analyst for the NFL on FOX.

Brief Biography

Jimmy Johnson began his coaching career with Louisiana Tech University as an assistant. He later moved to coaching Oklahoma State University from 1979 to 1983 before taking the head coaching job at the University of Miami. He made his NFL head coaching debut with the Dallas Cowboys in 1989. He later won two Super Bowls in Dallas, turning a 1-15 franchise around in three years.
