  • Actor and comedian Jimmy Fallon was a cast member of Saturday Night Live for eight years.

    Fallon made his debut as a talk show host on March 2, 2009. The comedian took over Conan O'Brien's spot on Late Night after O'Brien began hosting The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.   • Early Years

    Fallon grew up in Brooklyn, New York, as a big fan of Saturday Night Live, often reenacting scenes as a child. At the age of 24, he move to Los Angeles where he worked with the well known improvisation group, the Groundlings.
  • Dreams Do Come True

    In 1998, Fallon auditioned for SNL, earning a recurring role for his first season. In 1999, he joined the cast as a full time member where he continued for eight seasons.
  • Post SNL

    Fallon left SNL in 2004 and had since starred in several films. He appeared in the 2004 film Taxi with Queen Latifah, the 2005 comedy Fever Pitch with Drew Barrymore and the 2008 film The Year of Getting to Know Us with Sharon Stone and Tom Arnold.
  • Conan's Replacement

    In late April of 2008, it was confirmed that Jimmy Fallon would replace Conan O'Brien on Late Night with Conan O'Brien when Conan O'Brien moves to The Tonight Show in 2009. Conan's exit date from Late Night was February 20, 2009, with Fallon beginning on March 2, 2009.
