  • Jimmy Cliff is an internationally popular Reggae musician, actor and performer who has had numerous hits throughout his career, as well as a starring role in the movie The Harder They Come.
  • Career

    Born in a small village in Jamaica, Cliff moved to Kingston and began his recoding career at the young age of 14 with the hit song "Hurricane Hattie." After signing to Island Records and moving to Britain, Cliff released his debut album Hard Road to Travel - which featured the hit song "Waterfall."
  • The Harder They Come

    Cliff starred in and provided the musical soundtrack for the 1972 film The Harder They Come - which spawned the hit songs "You Can Get It If You Really Want" and "Many Rivers to Cross". Both the film and the soundtrack were hugely successful and helped introduce Cliff to mainstream audiences in the United States. Although he's never matched the success of his 1970s peak, Cliff has continued to write and record albums.
