  • Coaching Career

    Schwartz began coaching in 1989 as a graduate assistant with the Maryland Terrapins. He then left Maryland in 1990 to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.     In 1993, Schwartz took his first NFL position, serving as a scout and a defensive assistant for the Cleveland Browns. After three years in Cleveland, Schwartz was hired by the Baltimore Ravens, where he worked as an assistant head coach, quality control coach and linebackers coach.
