Jim Risch

Former Governor Jim Risch won election in 2008 to the U.S. Senate from the state of Idaho, filling the seat vacated by the retiring Larry Craig.

Risch was elected twice as the Lieutenant Governor of Idaho. In 2006, he became Governor of Idaho when Governor Dirk Kempthorne resigned to take a position in the Bush Administration as Secretary of the Interior.
