Jim Mora is a former professional football head coach of the NFL. Mora started his head coaching career with the New Orleans Saints before moving to the Indianapolis Colts. Mora finished his career with a 54% winning percentage.
Brief Biography
Jim Mora began his coaching career at Stanford University in 1967, after graduating with a masters in education from Occidental. Mora jumped around the NCAA for the next eleven years before getting the job as the defensive line coach with the Seattle Seahawks. In 1985, after a stint in the USFL, Mora landed the position of head coach of the New Orleans Saints. He moved on to the Indianapolis Colts in 1998, and turned his first 3-13 season around in his second year to a record of 13-3. He retired in 2001 finishing his career with a 125-106 record.
