Jim Lee is a Korean-American comic book artist and publisher.
Career
Jim Lee made his breakthrough with the first issue of the second X-Men series in 1991. Released with several different covers, the artwork revealed a new look to the popular superhero team and their arch-nemesis, Magneto. The issue sold over 8 million copies, making it the bestselling comic book to date.
In 1992, Lee co-found Image Comics with Todd McFarlane and other artists. There, he created the superhero group WildC.A.T.s, and later formed Wildstorm Productions as part of Image.
In 1998, Lee left Image and sold Wildstorm to DC Comics, where he did artwork for the Superman and Batman titles.
