Jim Irsay is the sole owner of the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League, Irsay has owned the team since 1997, becoming the youngest owner of an NFL franchise, being 37 at the time.
Irsay spoke out in October of 2009 over the idea that Rush Limbaugh was interested in purchasing the St. Louis Rams. He stated "I myself couldn't even think of voting for him... Our words do damage and it's something that we don't need. We need to get to a higher level of humanity and we have."http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/10/13/colts-irsay-pans-limbaugh-ownership-involvement/?loc=interstitialskip The comment was in reference to Limbaugh's racially charged comments about quarterback Donovan McNabb in 2003.
