Jim Fassel is a former National Football League head coach and broadcaster. Fassel was the coach of the New York Giants from 1997-2003, being succeeded by Tom Coughlin.

Brief Biography
Jim Fassel got his start as head coach at the University of Utah, after playing for the WFL in 1974 at the quarterback position. Fassel was drafted into the NFL by the Chicago Bears in 1972. Jim Fassel had a number of jobs before becoming the head coach in New York. He was an assistant with a number of teams in the league, and tutored quarterbacks including John Elway and Phil Sims.
