Jim Croce

  • Singer and songwriter Jim Croce rose to fame during the early 1970s with the chart topping song "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" in 1973. The single reached the the number one spot on the charts in the U.S. and sold more than two million copies. Croce died in a plane crash shorty before his album I Got a Name was released, it included the now classic song "Time in a Bottle" which was inspired by the birth of his son A.J. Croce who is now a singer and songwriter as well.
