Jill Scott is a R&B singer and an actress who appeared in the films Cavedweller, Hounddog and Why Did I Get Married? Along with being a singer and actress, Scott is also a poet. She penned the poetry book titled The Moments, the Minutes, the Hours.

Charitable Work
Jill Scott founded the Blues Babe Foundation, which helps students of color in the Philadelphia metro area succeed academically, and funds those students as they go through college. It provides college scholarships for students, as well as supporting social organizations, recreation centers and schools for underprivileged children in the region.
