    Signed as the Titans pick in the 1999 NFL draft, Kearse stayed with the team until 2004, when he moved to the Philadelphia Eagles. Kearse's performance with the Eagles was lackluster; he argued that their defensive strategy did not make use of his skills. He was released by the Eagles on February 28, 2008, and signed with the Titans just over a week later.

    Kearse was arrested on Sunday, June 22, 2008 and charged with driving under the influence. His SUV was spotted weaving on the road near the Vanderbilt University campus.
