Actress Jessie Cave was chosen among thousands of girls for the role of Lavender Brown in the 2008 film version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. She was cast in the BBC dramas Summerhill and Inkheart. Cave has also worked in the theater with roles in Noises Off, Tartuffe and Robin Hood.
