Jessica Tandy was a British-born American actress who won numerous awards for film, television, and the stage, and had a career that spanned sixty-five years.

She holds the record as the Oldest Oscar Winner for winning a standard competitive Oscar at age 81 for her performance in Driving Miss Daisy.

She won three Tony Awards for her work in the stage productions of A Streetcar Named Desire, The Gin Game, and The Glass Menagerie.
