  • Jessica Sierra is an American singer who caught the public eye during Season 4 of American Idol. Sierra started singing in church at the age of 3. As a teenager, she performed for Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Sierra was a spokeperson for the United States Department of Justice's National Stalking Resource Center. After being eliminated from Idol, Sierra went on to perform all over the world.

    Jessica Sierra was arrested on April 13, 2009, after hitting a man over the head with a glass at a cafe. During the search, cocaine was found in her possession, compounding the charges. She was later released on bail.CD Insight: Music News (April 13, 2009)

  • Arrests

    • November 19, 2007: Sierra was sentenced to 12 months probation after she pleaded "no contest" to charges of battery and possession of cocaine.
    • December 1, 2007: Sierra was arrested again at a Tampa bar, for disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest without violence, and violation of the conditions of her probation. Due to the probation violation charge, Sierra was held without bond for 39 days.The police report states that Sierra shouted obscenities and racial slurs at the police and offered a sexual favors if they would release her.
  • Celeb Rehab

    On January 7, 2008, Sierra was sentenced to one-year in rehab at a California treatment center to be followed by three years of probation. If Sierra violated the treatment program's rules or refused to finish then she will be extradited to Florida and would receive prison time. However, if Sierra successfully completes the treatment and her additional probation time, she will not be convicted of a felony. On January 13, 2008, Sierra was released from jail and flew directly to California to begin her treatment at the Pasadena Recovery Center. VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky, featured Sierra and eight other celebrities and premiered on VH1 on January 10, 2008. Sierra was unable to participate in the reunion show, aired March 13, due to probation restrictions.
