• A lawsuit was filed by actor Rob Lowe and his wife Sheryl Berkoff in Santa Barbara County in April of 2008 alleging that their former nanny, Jessica Gibson, was blackmailing them. Gibson reportedly claimed that she and Lowe had an intimate relationship. Lowe denied the accusations stating that they were "false and defamatory."
