For her American Idol audition, Jessica Furney sang her version of "Cry Baby," originally made popular by Janis Joplin. Simon Cowell began her critique saying "I like you, you stand out. Small town girl, big dreams, I like that." Randy Jackson agreed, saying "what I like about you is you're a natural. I could tell by you speaking that you have a nice natural tone."
