Jesse Stone: Thin Ice is a CBS television special starring Tom Selleck. Thin Ice if the fifth installment of the series, which is based on the character created in the novels by Robert B. Parker. Selleck plays Jesse Stone, a former Los Angeles police detective who was kicked off the force for drinking. Synopsis
- Jesse Stone goes to Boston to visit his friend, Healy (Stephen McHattie). During their visit, the state homicide commander, Healy, is shot, as is Stone. Stone becomes involved in the investigation and must deal with Boston Police Department Internal Affairs investigator (Leslie Hope). A second storyline develops back in Paradise when a stranger, Elizabeth Blue (Camryn Manheim), arrives at the police station. The Blue tries to convince Stone that her son, who was kidnapped when he was a baby kidnapped seven year ago, is living somewhere in town.NY Times: Sometimes, the Crime Finds the Cop (February 26, 2009)
