Jesse L Martin has sign onto the NBC drama The Philanthropist. Martin became a household name playing Ed Green on the NBC drama Law & Order. Before his nine year stint on the series, Martin starred in the Broadway musical Rent as Tom Collins. Martin reprized the role in the 2005 film production.
