Elin Nordegren and her sister, Josefin, worked for Parnevik as nannies. In 2001, Parnevik introduced her to Tiger Woods during the British Open. Nordegren and Woods began dating soon after and became engaged during the 2003 President's Cup matches in South Africa. They married in Barbados in 2004.

During an interview on the Golf Channel, Parnnevik talked about the scandal over Woods' infidelity.
