Jerry Garcia Biopic

A biopic about Grateful Dead frontman Jerry Garcia is currently in the works, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Robert Greenfield's book, Dark Star, was published in 1997. The book details Garcia's early childhood, time in the military, his years with the Dead, his addiction to heroin and the events leading up to his death in 1995.
