    On May 25, 2009, TMZ reported Shockey had to be taken out of the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas by stretcher. Sources claim he was found unconscious around 2pm and rushed to the hospital.     Shockey adapted to the National Football League well and made rookie of the year honors and played in the Pro Bowl in four out of his five seasons for the Giants.
