Jeremy Mayfield is a professional race car driver for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series circuit.
Mayfield was indefinitely suspended by NASCAR on May 9, 2009, after failing a random drug screening at Richmond International Speedway. Mayfield petitioned the courts for a temporary restraining order, preventing NASCAR from suspending him while his case is being reviewed. Suspension
Mayfield received an indefinite suspension from NASCAR in May of 2009 after failing a drug test.
