Jeremy Laing

Jeremy Laing is a Toronto based high-end clothing designer who launched his line in the Fall of 2005. He draws his inspirations from couture and tailoring traditions.

Jeremy Laing combines organic and geometric patterns and designs to his clothing, paying special attention to quality and detailing.

"My last collection was informed by a visit to the National History museum in New York. I was taken with the mineral samples, their odd colour combinations and textures, both organic and inorganic. My research led me to microscopic images of minerals under polarized light, which became a custom digital print and inspired the color palette. Construction evolved along the repetitive geometries and crystalline forms of minerals."
