Professional football tight end Jerame Tuman plays in the National Football League for the Arizona Cardinals.
Tuman re-signed with the Cardinals on January 13, 2009, to replace injured tight end Stephen Spach in the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles.ESPN.com: Cards sign replacement for Spach
Football Career
Prior to playing in the NFL, Tuman played college football with the Michigan Wolverines. He finished his collegiate career with 98 catches for 1,279 yards and 13 touchdowns. After school, Tuman was selected 136th overall in the 1999 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.Official Site of the Arizona Cardinals: Jerame TumanTuman made his professional debut with the Steelers in 1999, playing in seven games before he was sidelined with an ACL injury. He continued with the Steelers for eight additional seasons, including in 2006 when the Steelers defeated the Seattle Seahawks to win Super Bowl XL. In March of 2008, Tuman signed as a free agent with the Arizona Cardinals.
