The 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games will see Jenny Wolf the German Speed Skater make her third appearance in the Olympics. Wolf who was born on January 31, 1979 in Berlin, Germany appeared in the 2002 Olympic games in Salt Lake City and the 2006 Olympic games in Torino. She competes in both the 500 and 1000 meter sprint events. In the 2002 Olympics she placed 15th in the 500 meter sprint and in 2006 she finished sixth in the same event. From 2007 until 2009 she won three straight World Single Distances Championships. This has made her one of the top skaters in the world today. In that same time-frame she has also placed in three straight World Sprint Championships. Throughout her long career Jenny has ranked number one four times in the Speed Skating World Cups. Currently she skates of out of the skating club, Sport Club Berlin where she is coached by Thomas Schubert.
In addition to her accomplishments on the rink, she owns a triple major degree from Humboldt University in Berlin in German Literature, Language, and Sociology.
