Comedian Jenny Slate performed with the Upright Citizens Brigade comedy troupe in New York City before joining the cast of Saturday Night Live in the 2010 season.

Slate created and starred in the one-woman show Dead Millionaire and performs live comedy with her partner Gabe Liedman as "Gabe and Jenny". She also co-stars with Jimmy Fallon in the parody series 7th Floor West, which runs during Fallon's variety series, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Slate became known in New York comedy circles for her work with Upright Citizens Brigade and her one-woman show, Dead Millionaire. Along with comedy partner Gabe Liedman, Slate performs in the group "Gabe & Jenny" and co-hosts the "Big Terrific" comedy showcase in Brooklyn.

Slate has been seen previously on television on the series Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, The Whitest Kids U Know and on several VH1 shows.
