Jennifer Hudson presented the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor to Javier Bardem for his performance in No Country for Old Men at the 80th Annual Academy Awards ceremony on February 24, 2008. At the 2007 Academy Awards ceremony Hudson accepted the Best Supporting Actress for her role in Dreamgirls. She opened her acceptance speech by saying "Look what God can do. I didn't think I was going to win."
