Jennifer Carpenter

  • Jennifer Carpenter is an American film and TV actress who attended New York City's prestigious Julliard School. After appearing in the Broadway production of The Crucible, alongside Liam Neeson and Laura Linney, Carpenter starred as the demon-possessed title character in 2005's The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

    In 2007, Carpenter landed the role of Debra Morgan in the Showtime drama Dexter. Carpenter plays the unsuspecting adopted sister of the serial killer protagonist, Dexter (played by Michael C. Hall), who is trying to prove herself as a detective in the Miami Police Department.
