Jen Bunney was friends with Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag and often appears alongside the two in their MTV reality show The Hills. Conrad and Bunney had a falling out over Bunney hooking up with Brody Jenner however, since then the two have patched things up.

Bunney ruined her friendship with Lauren Conrad after Bunney tried to date Conrad's ex Brody Jenner. Bunney insists that the idea of her to date Jenner, came from the shows producers and that she would never betray a friend like that. Jenner allegedly told Conrad that the entire hook up was Bunney's idea and that Bunney had a part in spreading the Lauren Conrad sex tape rumors.
