    Biafra was born in Colorado; his father was a social worker, his mother a librarian. During the seventies he became an activist.   • Alternative Tentacles

    In 1979 Jello Biafra and his Dead Kennedy's band mate East Bay Ray formed the independent record company Alternative Tentacles in order to produce their single California Uber Alles.
