Jehovah's Witness
[Jehovah’s Witness]] has either a relatively short history or one leading back to the dawn of time as represented in Genesis. Their doctrine maintains that there have been Witnesses for Jehovah dating all the way back to Noah and possibly even Abel son of Adam. The Witnesses believe that they are the only true Christian religion and all others are false.
History of Jehovah's Witness
In the Early 1870's, Charles Taze Russell, a former Presbyterian who had been questioning his faith, became involved with the Adventists and began helping with their Magazine The Herald of the Morning . As time went on he became dissatisfied with the Adventists beliefs as well and left with a list of subscribers to begin his own periodical. The title of this publication was Zion’s Watch Tower. Initially Russell maintained a low key attitude in his magazine. The articles remained close to Adventist and Protestant beliefs but as time went on he began to diverge more and more. In 1882 he broke completely with other teachings by promoting the open rejection of the Trinity of god that other Christian beliefs upheld. http://www.bible.ca/jw-history.htm Throughout the reign of the Jehovah’s Witnesses they have continued to modify their doctrines and beliefs as they discovered more and more of what they believe to be true. The church leaders proclaim that with this information the Truth is getting brighter and brighter. http://www.carm.org/jehovahs-witnesses-in-a-nutshell <ref>
Jehovah's Witness Beliefs
The Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they are the only true Christian Faith and that the Pastors of the other faiths are antichrists teaching false information about Jesus’ teachings. They teach that god is only one being and not a Trinity composed of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. http://www.bible.ca/jw-history.htm The Witnesses teach that there is only one path to reach salvation and that all other faiths and religions, including all other Christian teachings are wrong and the only way is the one they pursue. http://www.watchtower.org/e/bh/article_15.htm
