The Web Standards Project
The Web Standards Project (WaSP), co-founded by Zeldman in 1998, is comprised of a group of developers that aim to increase the use of the standards put forth by the World Wide Web Consortium. WaSP persuaded Netscape and Microsoft to use the same web standards in their browsers, and with his e-zine A List Apart, he taught users how to use those standards.
