Jeffrey Wright is a critically acclaimed American film and stage actor. He is noted for his performances in Basquiat, Syriana, Casino Royale and for his Tony Award-winning role in Tony Kushner's Angels in America.

Wright and Brolin were arrested on July 12, 2008, for their involvement in a brawl at a Louisiana bar. Brolin and Wright were said to have been pepper sprayed by authorities after interfering with the arrest of an intoxicated crew member of the film W.

E! Online blog site reported on January 6, 2008, that the charges against Wright and Brolin will be dropped at their next court hearing on March 11, 2009. Attorney Blair Berk stated, "All charges will be dismissed. It was entered this morning and will be finalized in 60 days so there's no admission [of guilt']. Wright began appearing in off-Broadway productions in the late 1980s, and in 1990, he appeared in his first major film, Presumed Innocent, with Harrison Ford. After touring with John Houseman's The Acting Company, Wright was cast as Norman Arriaga in Tony Kushner's Angels in America - for which he earned a Tony for "Best Featured Actor in a Play." Throughout the rest of the 1990s and into the early 2000s, wright continued to build his career with memorable supporting roles. In 2003, he reprized his role in the Mike Nichols directed HBO miniseries Angels in America opposite Al Pacino, Emma Thompson, Meryl Streep, Tom Wilson and Mary-Louise Parker. With his turn as Felix Leiter in Casino Royale, Wright continues a long streak of strong performances in supporting roles.
