Three's Company Appearances
Jeffrey Tambor has come to be a known name among comedic actors, but much earlier in his career he was a character actor who made several appearances on sitcoms, particularly Three's Company. Tambor appeared on multiple occassions as various different characters, all of whom were curmudgeonly comic foils for the crazy antics of John Ritter's character Jack Tripper. Eventually Tambor landed the role of the the stodgy neighbor in The Ropers a Three's Company spinoff about the first set of landlords in Three's Company who move to an upscale neighborhood where they don't fit in.
