Jeffrey Tambor

  • Jeffrey Tambor is an American actor who is best known for his role on the Fox sitcom Arrested Development as George Bluth Sr., the partiarch of the Bluth family who is constantly under arrest and hatching schemes to escape his incarceration. Tambor is also reconginzed for his role as the on-air Ed McMahon-esque sidekick Hank Kingsley on the HBO original series The Larry Sanders Show.
  • Three's Company Appearances

    Jeffrey Tambor has come to be a known name among comedic actors, but much earlier in his career he was a character actor who made several appearances on sitcoms, particularly Three's Company. Tambor appeared on multiple occassions as various different characters, all of whom were curmudgeonly comic foils for the crazy antics of John Ritter's character Jack Tripper. Eventually Tambor landed the role of the the stodgy neighbor in The Ropers a Three's Company spinoff about the first set of landlords in Three's Company who move to an upscale neighborhood where they don't fit in.
