Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an American television and film actor.

Career
Though a working actor, mainly on television, for many years, Morgan didn't hit mainstream success until his multi-episode turn as Denny Duquette on ABC's Grey's Anatomy. He played a man in need of a heart transplant who falls in love with Katherine Heigl's character Izzie. At the same time as those episodes aired, he also had high profile parts on television programs Weeds and Supernatural. Since then, Morgan's star has been on the rise. He has had roles in several high profile films, including the film version of the graphic novel Watchmen, in which he plays The Comedian.
