Jeff Hoard is currently the Vertical Manager for the Sports department at Mahalo. Previously he was the Mahalo Answers Community Manager from December 2008 to January 2010. Hoard started at Mahalo in June 2007 as a remote guide in the Mahalo Greenhouse, his work earned him a full time position in February 2008 doing a variety of different tasks, such as checking incoming links in the now defunct "social" department. Prior to working at Mahalo, Jeff worked for Netscape and AOL News.

Jeff resides in Qualicum Beach, BC, where he is training to be a paid-on-call firefighter.
