Professional ice hockey player Jeff Halpern plays with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the National Hockey League.

NHL Career
Halpern entered the NHL by signing as a free agent with the Washington Capitals on March 29, 1999. He made his NHL debut that same year and played with the Capitals until the 2004-05 NHL lockout, when he played in Switzerland for the Kloten Flyers. After one additional season with the Captials, Halpern signed as a free agent with the Dallas Stars on July 5, 2006. After a year and a half in Dallas, Halpern was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning on February 26, 2008. -
