Jeff Garlin

  • Comedian and actor Jeff Garlin plays Larry David's manager Jeff Greene on the HBO improvisational sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm. He's also an executive producer on the show. Garlin recently made his debut as a film director with I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With, in which he co-starred with Sarah Silverman.

  • Stand-Up Comedy

    Garlin dropped out of the University of Miami in order to pursue a comedy career. He worked throughout the 1980s as a stand-up comedian, and appeared in productions with the Second City troupe as well. Garlin has turned his comedy routines into three separate one-man shows: I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With, Uncomplicated and Concentrated.

    A long-time fan of improvisational comedy, he hosted the Jeff Garlin Combo Platter at Los Angeles' Improv Olympic West theater, in which Garlin and other guest comedians would attempt to create stand-up sets based on audience suggestions.

  • Film and TV

    In addition to his appearances in Curb, Garlin was a recurring guest star on the sitcoms Mad About You and Arrested Development. He has also appeared in a number of films, including Daddy Day Care, Steven Soderbergh's Full Frontal and the Pixar animated film WALL-E.
