American comedian Jeff Foxworthy rose to popularity in 1993 with the release of his first album, You Might Be a Redneck If, which sold over three million copies.
He is also an author who has written 26 books, one being his first children's book, Dirt On My Shirt, which reached number two on The New York Times best sellers list.

Career
In 1993, when Foxworthy released the album You Might Be a Redneck If, it started the "you might be a redneck" craze and considerably boosted his popularity.In 1995, Foxworthy starred in the comedy The Jeff Foxworthy Show, but the show was short-lived. In the early 2000s, Foxworthy did stand-up comedy with the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which also featured Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy and Ron White. The tour was so popular it continued for three years.
In 2004, Foxworthy co-created Blue Collar TV, serving as executive producer and starring alongside Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall with occasional guest appearances from Ron White.
