Jeff Beck Career
Jeff Beck began his career with The Yardbirds, the same band that launched the careers of legendary guitarists Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page. Beck went on to become something of a legend himself, widely influential among guitar players, though never as well-known as either Clapton or Page. After the Yardbirds, he formed The Jeff Beck Group which featured Rod Stewart on vocals.
Beck's peak of commercial success came in the form of his 1975 album, Blow by Blow (produced by legendary Beatles producer George Martin), which became a benchmark among all-instrumental albums. From there he continued to record, perform, collaborate, and maintain a solo career that continues today.
