The Jeep EV is part of a series of Chrysler-developed electric vehicles designed to compete in the fuel efficient vehicle market. The Jeep EV is said to drive 40 miles on a single electric charge and uses a small gasoline engine to power its battery to increase the Jeep EV's driving range to 400 miles.
