Actress Jeanne Tripplehorn has played the role of "Barbara Henrickson" on the HBO series Big Love since it first aired in March of 2006. In the series she plays one of the three wives in a polygamist family.
Tripplehorn starred opposite of Michael Douglas in the 1991 thriller Basic Instinct. In 1991 she played the leading female role in the Kevin Costner movie Waterworld. In 1993 she played the wife of Tom Cruise in the box-office hit, The Firm.
