Jeanne M. Lambrew is a Research Fellow of health policy analysis at the school of Public Affairs at the University of Texas. She has been named the deputy director of the Department of Health and Human Services by President-elect Barack Obama. Lambrew researched Medicare and Medicaid and worked on health policy at The White House from 1997 to 2000. She is also the senior health analyst at the National Economic Council.
