Jean Sarkozy

Jean Sarkozy is the son of Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France and a regional councillor of the city of Neuilly-sur-Seine. He is a second year law student at Sorbonne in Paris. He is a aspiring amateur actor and is the lead in The Rise of The Dauphin.

Born and raised in the Paris suburb of Neuilly-ru-Seine, Jean Sarkozy was born to Nicolas Sarkozy during his first marriage. While his father raised him around the political scene, his mother attempted to impart a more conservative nature during his summer stays with her.

While doing some work as an actor, Jean Sarkozy continues to attend Sorbonne. Recently elected in March, 2008 to his position as Regional councillor, some see him as following in his father's footsteps. His father held the same position when he was 28 years old.

Jean Sarkozy is not without controversy, however. A Paris motorist pressed charges against him in 2007 claiming that he ran over him while the motorist was on a scooter, and then fled the scene. In addition, he has created a rift in his own political party by running for and winning the title of Regional councillor.

The previous party incumbent candidate was supported by his father Nicolas Sarkozy. However, when he realized that the candidate did not have a chance of winning (based on the polls), he broke from the party ranks and announced he would run against him. He garnered enough support to not only win the party's backing, but also to cause the incumbent candidate to resign.
